05.05.2008 Insurance If you can, by all means please insure those ships! It is very important that you get insurance for your ships as it will make rebuilding much faster. No amount of insurance will totally pay for the ship but it is better than no insurance at all. Studies have shown that you can rebuild your prized ship and equipment faster if you have some starting ISK than if you do not insure the ship at all. By acquiring platinum insurance you give yourself an edge above and beyond that of the same player that does not buy insurance. Tonight some local small talk lead to my showing an ice miner how gang link modules work. We ganged up and I hit him with my laser opti module and it cut more than 30 seconds a cycle off his mining time. Keep in mind that local chat can also lead to war declarations so it is important to know when to keep your mouth shut and just simply walk away. I have seen it happen more often than you would think. A simple disagreement turns ugly and before you know it two corporations are searching for blood. Always watch your six and try to play nice, unless of course you are looking for a fight then by all means, rant away. 10.03.2008 Empire Exhumer Kills There have been notice and proof of empire exhumer kills. Apparently some corporations sacrifice their own members to the exhumer destruction gods of war. They are so dire set on destroying exhumers in empire space that they sacrifice their own to make it a reality. Sure this is a huge blow to anyone flying one of the beautiful T2 ships but if you know where to mine and how to mine smart you will not fall prey to this abomination of methods. Do not get caught with your pants down people, fly smart, mine smart and keep it between the holes, black holes that is. |
ARTICLES ICE Prices Increase The price of all types of ICE increase as a wave of demand hits the market. It seems that times for fueling the POS are here and there is a growing demand for all types of ICE products. Recent calculations show that it is no longer more profitable to refine the ICE and sell the parts but instead will gather you more ISK for selling ICE than the components of ICE. You will see more flocking to the ICE belts than normal and those Mackinaws prices may increase as well. Get that T2 equipment dusted off and start mining! Losing the CNR Today was the second time I have lost a Caldari Navy Raven during a mission by the hand of CONCORD. The first time was while using some repping drones, I repped my brother, also a member of my corporation, and CONCORD blew me away. This was an obvious mistake so I was given my ship and most of my modules back. Well today I used a large smart bomb during a mission and the closest person was only within 7km, far enough away to not be affected and also in my corporation therefore making them exempt. Yet once again CONCORD paid me a visit. I filed a petition and hope to see my ship in my hangar very soon but if I do not then I will once again have to set up another one billion ISK CNR. This is getting old CCP, fix the bugs please. |
